<h2><strong><A href="extended_EGFR.htm">EGFR29 Mutation Test Kit</A></strong></h2>
<p>DxS has just launched an extended EGFR Mutation kit for the detection of the 29 most common somatic mutations in the Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) gene. This assay now includes an additional 27 mutations for increased selectivity. Recent studies into non-small cell lung cancer have shown that some patients carry somatic mutations in the epidermal growth factor receptor gene (EGFR). These mutations correlate with responsiveness to tyrosine kinase inhibitors such as gefitinib and erlotinib, with some mutations having a sensitising effect and others being linked to resistance. <strong><A href="extended_EGFR.htm">More details...</A></strong></p>
<h2><strong><A href="T790M_EGFR_mutation.htm">T790M EGFR Mutation Test Kit</A></strong></h2>
<p>DxS's sensitive real-time PCR kit for the detection of the T790M
mutation in exon 20 of the Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) gene. A
vital tool for understanding the association between T790M mutations and

<h2><strong><A href="K-RAS_mutation_kit.htm">K-RAS Mutation Kit</A></strong> </h2>
<p>DxS have most recently launched the DxS K-RAS Mutation Detection Kit, which adds to their expanding portfolio of cancer mutation detection products. K-RAS mutation status is emerging as an important predictor of drug response, recent publications suggest that in lung cancer patients the K-RAS mutation status is a strong predictor of resistance to therapy with tyrosine kinase inhibitors . The kit is highly selective and robust, detecting seven key mutations in the K-RAS gene.
